Another resource depending on your husbands disability would be the www.SSA.gov they have a LIST OF COMPASSIONATE DISEASES AND DISORDERS that automatically puts you on Adult Disability provided you follow their instructions. Apply for Adult Disability online, it is much easier and much more quick.

Is there somewhere to go when there is an unexpected money problem? Someone took all of my money and all I have is enough to pay my rent and a little left over. We need some food for us and a little for our pet birds. Usually we are ok, but this was too big a burden for us. Can someone tell me where to get help for just one month and then we should be ok. We haven't had money for two months. With prayer and some help we made it, but are almost out of food to make it this month. Is there someone who will help with some food?

You need to contact your state family and human service department.also Federal benefits for person with disability.Your state unemployment office can direct you to the place to apply for benefits.

You should be able to apply for SSI/SS social security benefits you will need to be examined by a government doctor.you will need to talk with a lawyer who handle this type of case.
